Can anyone share their opinions on which prepaid credit cards are best to purchase?

I am trying to avoid the bank%26#039;s overdraft scams and I think the only way to get a handle on my finances is to go with the prepaid cards. I know that any fees connected to a prepaid credit/debit card is way better than the high bank fees, but still want to go for the best card at the best rate. Anyone have any good experiences or bad with prepaid credit cards? Can you load it by calling in your bank info? I%26#039;ve never used any of these and don%26#039;t know the first thing about it. I would appreciate some information!

I%26#039;d agree that the Wal Mart card may be a good one for people. I personally try to look for other alternatives to Wal Mart (for most things), and recently got a Readydebit Visa prepaid card. The fees seem low ($10 to get the card, $5/mo, no purchase transaction fees). The part I like best is the no overdraft fees. Anyway, the website is www.readydebit.com if you want to check it out.

I have a prepaid visa card from Wally World (Wal Mart) and I would recommend it to anyone who want%26#039;s to avoid the bank. Check out the info at your local Wal Mart in the customer service center. Just a little FYI -

Besides the new debit card, Wal-Mart offers payroll check cashing, bill payment, money orders, money transfers and Wal-Mart branded credit cards. The Wal-Mart MoneyCard costs $8.95 to buy and $4.95 for monthly maintenance. Cash can be loaded on the card for free by cashing a payroll or government check at Wal-Mart or direct depositing. Otherwise it costs $4.64 to reload the card.|||If you do not have bad credit, you can easily get a good credit card. A Credit card for people with bad credit is a form of borrowing that often involves charges. So it%26#039;s wise to compare terms and fees before you agree to open a credit or charge card account. Try looking for a credit card%26lt;!--with a low APR. Find out the APR because this is the amount charged to you on monthly balances.

Not sure--%26gt;which credit cards you should apply for? Shop around because not all credit cards for people with bad credit are created equal.|||The All Access? Prepaid Visa?
